Paul Gane

Paul Gane is currently the Bioinformatics Lead at Abcam, specializing in molecular field analysis with a focus on drug design. Paul previously held positions as a Consultant at Cresset, and worked on protein structure integration into UniProt at EMBL-EBI. From 2006 to 2012, Paul served as a Principal Scientist, Molecular Modeller, and Computational Chemist at University College London. Additional past roles include Application Support Engineer at Chemical Computing Group and Field Application Scientist at Congenica. Paul is actively pursuing degrees at Birkbeck, University of London in Biophysics and Bioengineering, at the University of Leeds in Joint Hons Pharmacology and Physiology, and at the University of Kent for a PhD in Bioinformatics and Computational Chemistry.
