Phil Rich

Phil Rich has over a decade of experience in digital infrastructure management, currently serving as the Lead Digital Infrastructure Engineer at Abcam since January 2010. In this role, Phil is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs, across both on-premises and cloud environments such as Azure and AWS. Phil also leads infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and configuration changes to ensure minimal disruption to business operations. Prior to Abcam, Phil worked at Volac International Ltd from July 2008 to December 2009, where roles included IT Support, Network Administrator, and Senior Infrastructure Engineer.
