Simon Richardson

Simon Richardson is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in infrastructure and digital platforms. Currently serving as the Head of Global Platforms & Infrastructure at Abcam since June 2021, Simon previously held the position of EMEA Digital Infrastructure & Platform Manager. Prior roles include IT Infrastructure, Security and Architecture Manager at Accsys, Storage & Backup Operations Manager at Kier Group, and Infrastructure Manager at Willmott Dixon. Simon also has experience as a Systems and Network Administrator at Central Networks and as a Technical Support Analyst at Pizza Hut UK & Europe. Educationally, Simon holds a VMware certification from Global Knowledge, London, completed in 2010.
