Sybille Rex

Sybille Rex, Ph.D., serves as a Scientific Support and Quality Specialist at Abcam, Inc. since August 2008, where responsibilities include leading a team for post-complaint product review, managing global projects, and publishing a Quarterly Quality Newsletter. Previous roles at Abcam also included Scientific Support and OEM QC Specialist, where interdepartmental and global project management was fundamental. Prior to Abcam, Sybille Rex was a Staff Scientist at Boston University School of Medicine, contributing to significant research in cardiovascular biology, and held a Research Associate position, establishing the effects of omega-3 fatty acids on cancer cell proliferation. Sybille Rex completed a postdoctoral fellowship at McGill University and holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Basel and an MS in Chemistry from the University of Leipzig. Training includes leadership and emotional intelligence.
