Will Howat

Will Howat is a highly motivated senior manager currently serving as the Vice President of Validation & Technical Quality at Abcam. They have extensive experience in managing scientific teams and establishing molecular pathology laboratories in both academic and pharmaceutical settings. Previously, Will held positions such as Director of Antibody Validation & Characterisation and Head of Imaging & Immunohistochemistry at Abcam, and Head of Histopathology/ISH at Cancer Research UK. Will completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Southampton, focusing on asthma research and has been actively involved in STEM activities and conference organization throughout their career.
