Antonios Samiotakis

Antonios Samiotakis is an accomplished professional in the field of bioinformatics, currently serving as Director of Bioinformatics, Modelling & Simulations at AbCellera since August 2022. Under this role, Antonios established a team of Computational Biologists and is leading modeling and simulation efforts for pre-clinical and clinical studies. Previously, Antonios held various positions at Zymeworks Inc. from May 2011 to July 2022, culminating in the role of Director of Translational Informatics/Biomarkers, where responsibilities included leading biomarker studies and mentoring teams of scientists. Antonios's extensive experience spans multiple roles in technology integration, statistical modeling, and molecular simulations, with a strong foundation in physics, holding a PhD and MSc from the University of Houston, and a diploma from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
