Doris Shim

Doris Shim is an accomplished professional in the field of biology and immunology, with extensive experience in both research and leadership roles. Currently, Doris serves as Site Lead and Director, Lead Biology at AbCellera since January 2020, following positions including Associate Director and Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where Doris contributed to the development of novel biologics for respiratory medicine. Additional research experience encompasses a tenure as Senior Proteomics Research Scientist at Sengenics and earlier work at OptumInsight as a Research Analyst, where Doris focused on clinical data preparation for drug reimbursement submissions. Doris began a career in research at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research as a PhD Scholar, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy in Immunology from UNSW. Doris holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the same institution.
