Michael Marit

Michael Marit is a Principal Scientist at AbCellera, focusing on bioassay and potency CMC since December 2023. Previously, Michael served as Associate Director of Analytical Science and Technology at Triumvira Immunologics, Inc., leading a team to ensure FDA compliance and supporting clinical analytical data submissions for three IND and CTA filings. Earlier roles included Senior Scientist in Process and Assay Development at Triumvira, where Michael guided the transition to an IND, and Senior Scientist in Drug Development at PlantForm Corporation, overseeing the production of a biosimilar trastuzumab. Michael also has a background as a postdoctoral fellow on a DARPA-funded project and has contributed to academic teaching as a guest lecturer and teaching assistant during studies for a Ph.D. in Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Genetics & Biotechnology.
