Maria Puchol is an accomplished audiovisual translator and subtitler, currently working at Subtitula'm and Collot Baca Localization since September and October 2022, respectively. Maria has extensive freelance experience, having worked as a freelance translator since June 2013 and contributing over 800 titles of children's literature as an EN>ES editorial translator for ABDO. In the educational sector, Maria served as a homeroom teacher at the Canadian International School of Beijing and the American International School in Abu Dhabi, in addition to being an elementary school Spanish teacher and multicultural program coordinator at St. Louis Park Public Schools for 15 years. Maria holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Valencia, a Master of Education from St. Catherine University, and two master's degrees in audiovisual translation and conference interpreting from Universidad Europea.
