Shoki Ko

Shoki Ko has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. They began their career at Panasonic, where they worked as an AI Software Engineer. During this time, they collected user-generated posts and websites on a social media platform using Python and BeautifulSoup. Additionally, they performed multi-class image classification using CNN models, such as ResNet 50, 101, and MobileNet v2, in frameworks like Keras and Pytorch. They successfully improved the image classification validation accuracy from 32% to 68% by implementing multi-label classification.

Afterward, Shoki Ko joined the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office as an iOS Developer and worked on developing mobile applications. They then pursued further academic opportunities while working at Boston University School of Medicine as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Computational Biomedicine Lab.

Following their research role, Shoki Ko joined Boston University as a student, where they pursued their academic studies until 2021. In 2021, they joined Rakuten Mobile, Inc. as a Software Engineer and worked until 2022.
