Simon Rees is the Head of Technical at Abel & Cole, where they have been driving food safety, quality systems, and team management since 2004. With over 20 years of experience in the food industry, Simon has specialized in areas such as FMCG, organic produce, and retail. They hold a BSc in Food Science from the University of Reading and have developed a strong background in HACCP, supplier management, and auditing. Prior to their current role, Simon worked as a Second Chef and Process Technologist, gaining significant expertise in kitchen management and quality standards. Known for their meticulous planning and friendly demeanor, Simon is committed to continuous learning and improvement within the technical field.
