Students enrolled in the 40-hour, 5-day INTRODUCTION TO BEAHAVIORAL ANALYSIS are issued a workbook containing instructive material and investigative summaries of actual crimes. After receiving specific instruction, they will read case summaries, examine related photos, and answer questions about the crime.

The student workbook contains information about logical thinking, crime scene reconstruction, bloodstain patterns, wound identification, body decomposition, and criminal profiling. It is filled with many violent crime cases for students to test the knowledge they have gained. The cases are separated into three types: CASE STUDIES, CLASS DISCUSSIONS, and CLASS EXERCISES. Case Studies provide a self-explanatory synopsis about what occurred and who did it. Class Discussions offer a brief explanation of details and some general questions. The Class Discussions are geared to generate critical thinking. With these, who did it is not as important as to how and why it was done. Class Exercises involve detailed, in-depth discussions about the various aspects of a violent crime. Actions and behaviors of both the offender and victim are deciphered in an effort to reconstruct what occurred. By doing so, the motive can then possibly be ascertained. Personal traits for the unknown offender will also be addressed. The COST for the training is $500 USD per student. Agencies who host the training get one (1) free tuition for every ten (10) paid students.
