Drew Barillas

Drew Barillas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They began their career as an Art Instructor for the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department, where they taught art classes at different art centers and served as an instructor for the Visiting Schools Program.

They then transitioned to the field of photography, starting their own business called Drew Barillas Photography in 2008. As the owner, they produced images for television and movie promos, print publications, and web content. They also worked as a camera assistant for various photographers on shoots for AMC, Vogue Magazine, and T-Mobile.

In 2011, they gained sales experience as a Sales Representative at Wiredrive and later as a Sales Agent at Clutter, where they demonstrated and sold value to new customers for on-demand storage services. At Extra Space Storage, they worked as an Assistant Manager from 2014 to 2015.

They also have experience in the transportation industry, having worked as a Manager Trainee at Ryder Transportation for a short period in 2011.

Most recently, Drew Barillas joined AbelCine in 2021 as an Inside Sales Agent. Prior to this, they worked at Samy's Camera as a Sales Person for the Video and Sound Department.

Drew Barillas began their education in 2006 at ArtCenter College of Design, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography. Drew remained enrolled until 2009. After a brief hiatus, they resumed their educational journey in 2012 and concluded in 2014 at The Book Shop, where they focused on Advertising, though they did not pursue a degree in this field.
