John Kelly

John Kelly is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the film and video industry. Since March 2012, John has held various roles at AbelCine, currently serving as Service Manager and Rental Returns Manager, overseeing the rental return team and managing equipment consignment programs, along with purchasing for the New York Rental department. John also worked as a freelance Director of Photography from 2008 to 2018, shooting narrative, documentary, and corporate projects. Earlier experience includes positions as a Video Specialist, Cleanroom Technician, and Laboratory Technician at the University of Rochester from 2005 to 2008. John Kelly earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Cinematography and Film/Video Production and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Animation from Rochester Institute of Technology between 2003 and 2007.
