Sam Baker has over a decade of experience in user experience design, currently serving as a User Experience Design Supervisor at Abelson-Taylor since August 2011. In this role, Sam has led accessibility-driven UX initiatives for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients, ensuring alignment with WCAG 2.1 standards and promoting inclusive design best practices as the VP of an internal accessibility employee resource group. Prior to this, Sam held positions as a Senior User Experience Designer and User Experience Designer at Maddock Douglas, alongside freelance work as an Information Architect, where involvement included stakeholder interviews, research, and integration of insights from various fields. Earlier experience also includes working as a Web Developer at The Jay Group, where Sam developed web applications and collaborated closely with clients to define project vision and requirements. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Human-Computer Interaction from DePaul University.
