Aberdeen Heat & Power is an independent not-for-profit energy company established by Aberdeen City Council in 2002 to help tackle fuel poverty across the city.

Through a growing network of district heating systems, we provide reliable and affordable heat and hot water to homes, public buildings and commercial premises across Aberdeen.

Our focus is simple: deliver efficient, dependable heating while supporting the city’s transition towards lower-carbon energy.

As our networks continue to expand, we work closely with communities, partners and developers to deliver long-term energy infrastructure that benefits the city.
