Tom Conry

Tom Conry is an independent mechanical or industrial engineering professional with extensive experience in both academia and forensic engineering. They served as a Mechanical Engineer at Ruhl Forensic, Inc. from 2006 to 2018, providing expert witness services related to mechanical failures. From 1971 to 2006, Conry was a Professor Emeritus of Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Currently, they are an at-large member of the Board of Directors for ABET and are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, while also holding a B.S. in Engineering Mechanics from Penn State University.
