Melanie Ward

Melanie Ward possesses extensive experience in clinical leadership and education, currently serving as Chair of the Clinical Governance Committee and Senior Manager of Clinical Services at Ability Options since October 2019. In these roles, Melanie leads the clinical operations team, provides expert clinical guidance to executive management, develops and implements operational policies, and manages projects related to digital platforms and quality management systems in disability and accommodation services. Prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Facilitator at Health Care Australia from 2013 to 2016, delivering competency-based programs across various healthcare settings. Melanie is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Torrens University Australia, holding a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Newcastle, a Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing from the Australian College of Nursing, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from First Choice Training QLD.
