David Woods

David Woods serves as the Director of Technology & Transformational Change at Ability West since October 2025. Previously, David held multiple roles at Hurdle from April 2022 to October 2025, including Senior IT Manager and Data Protection Officer. David's earlier experience at Shopify from May 2016 to April 2022 involved positions such as IT Manager and Senior IT Specialist, where responsibilities included leading the international IT team and overseeing logistical and technical tasks. Prior roles also include a Sales Advisor position at Maplin Electronics and a Web Content and Customer Care Manager role at Studyclix.ie. David holds a Bachelor of Digital Media from Maynooth University, earned between 2012 and 2015.
