Michael Welsh

Michael Welsh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Michael is currently working as a Senior Customer Success Manager at DeleteMe. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Government Affairs at Merkle Science, where they developed and maintained connections with regulators and officials worldwide. Michael also co-owned and operated CrossFit RA Raw Appeal, where they led sales, marketing, and service divisions.

Before entering the private sector, Michael worked at Chainalysis Inc. as a Customer Success Manager, Federal, where they integrated technologies and built relationships with government clients. Michael also has a background in intelligence analysis, having worked at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). At the FBI, they represented the agency on the Joint Criminal Opioid and Darknet Enforcement initiative and managed major threat programs related to darknet drugs and cyber-enabled fraud. Michael also functioned as an Embedded Intelligence Analyst and Operational Support Technician.

Michael started their career as an Administrative Support Assistant at the Bureau of Land Management and served as a Lead Administrative Specialist in the US Navy, where they managed junior staff members and oversaw administrative tasks. Michael has also worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Law Office of Shelley Maurice.

Michael Welsh obtained their education from various institutions. Michael started their academic journey at Vincennes University, where they pursued an Associate's degree in General Studies until the year 2010. Later, they attended the University of Phoenix from 2007 to 2011 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. During this time, they also specialized in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General, as part of their Bachelor's degree.

In 2011, Michael continued their education at the University of Phoenix and obtained two Master's degrees. The first was a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General, and the second was a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General.

Apart from their formal education, Michael has also obtained several certifications. In May 2020, they received the Chainalysis Cryptocurrency Fundamentals Certification (CFCC), the Chainalysis Reactor Certification (CRC), and the Know Your Transaction (KYT) Certification from Chainalysis Inc. Additionally, Michael holds prior Top Secret Clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), which was granted by the Department of Justice and the Department of Defense.
