David Bird

David Bird has over 7 years of experience in the financial industry, working as both a trader and pricing analyst. David is currently a fund accountant at Abingworth, but previously worked as a senior trader at Myriad Trading and as a pricing analyst at BNY Mellon.

David's experience in the industry has given him a deep understanding of the financial markets and how they work. David is an expert in analyzing price movements and identifying trends in the market. David is also skilled in handling customer enquiries and providing accurate evaluations of securities.

In their current role at Abingworth, David is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial reporting for a number of funds. David works closely with the fund managers to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and reported. David also provides analysis and advice on the financial performance of the funds under their management.

David Bird has a degree in civil engineering from University College Dublin and a masters in financial services from the University of Limerick. David also has certification from the CFA Institute as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and from the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI) as a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA).

David Bird reports to Neil Cooper, CFO. David Bird works with Howard Ng - Assistant Accountant, Siew Tin Yew - Financial Controller.
