Ivan Hanson

Ivan Hanson is the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Corewell Health since December 2022. Ivan also serves as the Associate Program Director for the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship and as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, positions held since July 2014. Ivan has a robust interventional cardiology practice at both William Beaumont University Hospital and Beaumont Health, where roles as Interventional Cardiologist date back to July 2009. Additionally, Ivan has proctored for Edwards Lifesciences and Medtronic since July 2019 and has been a speaker and consultant for Abiomed since September 2017. Prior training includes serving as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University from July 2005 to June 2009. Ivan earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan.
