Chad Clement

Chad Clement has over 30 years of experience in information security and has worked with a variety of clients ranging from small to large multinational corporations. Chad began their career in 1991 as an Information Security and Network Engineer with the US Marine Corps and has since worked with companies such as Lucent Technologies, Sprint Paranet, and Haworth Inc. In their most recent role as Executive Director, oCISO Services with Optiv Inc, Chad provided executive-level leadership to medium and enterprise organizations, evaluating security programs, recommending strategic solutions, and serving as a trusted advisor for engagements. Chad has also served as a Board Member for the Michigan Healthcare Cybersecurity Council and as Chief Information Security Officer for Lakeland Health, where they devised information security and technology compliance programs. Overall, Chad has a wealth of experience in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) consulting and has worked with clients in a variety of sectors, including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail.

Chad Clement obtained a BS degree in Network Security from Davenport University, however, the start and end years for this degree are unknown. In 2022, they enrolled in the MBA Degree Program at Haroun Education Ventures and completed it in 2023. Additionally, Chad received an Incident Response Planning certification from LinkedIn in May 2021. Chad also obtained certifications from IAPP, ISACA, and ISC2 but the details regarding the certification obtained month and year are unknown.
