Jose de Castro

Jose de Castro has worked in the medical device industry since 1988. Jose began their career at Resonex Inc. as a Technical Support Engineer and Product Marketing Manager from 1988 to 1995. Jose then moved to Medtronic as a Marketing Manager from 1995 to 1999. Jose then worked at Endocardial Solutions as a Territory Sales Manager and Sr. Clinical Engineer from 1999 to 2006. From 2006 to 2012, they worked at Biosense Webster in various roles, including Executive Clinical Account Specialist, Lead Clinical Account Specialist, Clinical Account Specialist, and Territory Sales Manager. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Acutus Medical, Inc. as Clinical Director-West. Most recently, they have been the Director, Field Clinical Engineer-North America at Ablacon, Inc. since 2021.

Jose de Castro attended Duke University from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Jose then returned to Duke University from 1985 to 1987, where they earned a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
