Sara Toussaint

Sara Toussaint is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in brand building, investment, and sports management. Currently serving as Partner and Managing Director at Underdog Venture Team since 2022, Toussaint oversees consulting for sports and media while investing in trendsetting startups. As a co-owner of North Carolina Courage, a dominant team in the National Women's Soccer League, and a board member and investor at The Marketing Jersey, Toussaint is deeply involved in women's soccer and athlete management. Additional roles include investing in Purpose Tea and Able Made, focusing on social purpose and sustainability. Toussaint's prior experience includes a Vice President position at Wells Fargo, where strategic sponsorship and brand engagement were prioritized, along with roles at Allied Minds, Major League Soccer, and the University of Chicago, where engagement and alumni relations strategies were successfully executed. Toussaint holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from the University of Chicago and an MBA with a focus on Marketing and Entertainment from NYU Stern School of Business.
