Pradeepa Dhanasekar

Pradeepa Dhanasekar has over 6 years of experience in the IT industry, specializing in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. Pradeepa is currently the Director of Engineering at Able.

Pradeepa started their career at Cognizant in May 2011 as an Associate. Pradeepa quickly rose through the ranks and became the BI Lead in July 2017. At Cognizant, they were responsible for preparing statement of work, risk assessment, project and resource plans, and managing project communications at all levels of the project.

In their role as BI Lead, Pradeepa was responsible for leading the dev team and preparing decks, working on RFP’s and resource management, assigning tasks, schedule creation and forecasting. Pradeepa also created dashboards in Qlikview, worked on D3 JS chart visualizations and extracting data from Telematics devices to Mongo DB. In addition, they performed complete unit, functional and automation testing.

Pradeepa has extensive experience in performing source system data analysis, assessing source data quality and defining business rules for handling source data. Pradeepa has also identified, documented and validated target data requirements, mapping the required transformations from the source data to the target data. Furthermore, they have translated stakeholders’ requirement into tangible deliverables such as functional specification, user cases, user stories, and data-flow / data model diagrams.

In their current role as Director of Engineering at Able, Pradeepa is responsible for creating testing strategy for Enterprise, Functional, User Acceptance, Unit and Performance Testing. Pradeepa also identifies and reconciles errors in client data to ensure accuracy of business requirements. In addition, they act as a liaison between the technical team and business and facilitates weekly meetings to manage the project plan.

Pradeepa Dhanasekar has a MS in Software Engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology.
