Jamie Sherriff has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries.

Starting in 2010, Jamie worked at Enatel as a Test Technician, where they tested power supply systems and performed quality assurance on products. In 2011, they became a Production Technician and Team Leader, leading a team in producing electrical systems while managing staff, ensuring quality control, and liaising with engineers and management.

In 2012, Jamie joined Telogis as an Intern QA engineer, starting with manual testing tasks and eventually taking on test planning and execution, test progress reporting, and the establishment of a UI automation test suite for mobile applications. They continued at Telogis as a Junior Test Automation Engineer, designing and constructing automation test systems for mobile and web applications. From 2015 to 2018, Jamie served as a Software and Automation Engineer at Telogis, taking on development responsibilities such as feature planning, bug fixing, and build management.

Next, in 2018, Jamie transitioned to Ryman Healthcare as a Senior Test Analyst, where they created a Microsoft UWP application automation framework and developed test strategies to ensure high-quality software.

Most recently, Jamie has been with Abley since 2019. They started as a Spatial Developer and progressed to the role of Senior Spatial Developer, contributing to spatial development projects. Currently, Jamie holds the position of Principal Spatial Developer at Abley.

Throughout their career, Jamie has demonstrated a strong focus on quality assurance, automation, development, and leadership in various roles across different organizations.

Jamie Sherriff has a diverse education history. They obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Geography from the University of Canterbury, from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, Jamie attended Electec College of Technology in 2009, where they studied Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician. Their high school education was completed at Riccarton High School from 2004 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Jamie has also obtained additional certifications. They have completed the ITIL Foundation Level certification at Auldhouse in November 2018. Jamie has also obtained the Electrical Service Technician (EST-A) certification from EWRB, although the specific date of achievement is not provided.
