Matthew Noon has a diverse work experience in various companies. Matthew started their career as a Strategic Planner at Environment Canterbury from September 2003 to May 2006. Matthew then worked as a Project Manager at London Borough of Lambeth from October 2006 to August 2013. Matthew subsequently joined Westminster City Council as a European Programmes Manager, leading projects focused on sustainable transport and air quality enhancement from August 2013 to June 2015. Since January 2016, they have been working at Abley, initially as an Associate Director focusing on transportation planning and digital engineering. Later, they also took on the role of Associate Director, where they provided expertise, advice, and delivered innovative solutions across various transport portfolios.

Matthew Noon attended St Thomas of Canterbury from 1988 to 1994, where they did not acquire any specific degree or field of study. Matthew later enrolled at Lincoln University, where they earned a Bachelor of Resource Studies (BRS) degree between 1995 and 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Applied Science (MAppSci) degree in Resource Management at Lincoln University, which they completed in 1999.
