We started by identifying a problem: every health care organization manages pharmacy medication configuration in similar ways. Each organization creates their own in-house policy and procedures for updating medications with new clinical decision support - sometimes supported by technology and other times not. We wanted to go farther and create a solution that gives organizations the ability to encode their standard procedures into while making it easy to share this data with each other. 

AblooMed exists for one reason: improving efficiency and safety of pharmacy practice in health systems by creating tools that improve health system collaboration.
