Andy Ford

Andy Ford has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Andy started their career in 2015 at Mayden, where they worked as a Software Developer and contributed to the modernization and maintenance of a patient-facing service. In 2016, they joined VATSIM as a Web Services Developer, where they played a lead role in developing software solutions to enhance the user experience on the VATSIM network. Since 2017, they have been working at Mayden as a Software Developer, where they have been involved in the development of a patient record management system used by NHS trusts. Andy has also been instrumental in introducing new technologies and performing penetration tests on production infrastructure. Andy's most recent position is at Ably, where they started in 2023. As a Technical Lead & Senior Software Engineer, they have been responsible for technical leadership, working across the complete stack, and building innovative solutions to deliver real-time experiences at scale.

Andy Ford attended the University of Bath from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Computer Science.
