Jamie Newcomb's work experience begins with a role as a Work Experience at Thomson Reuters in 2009. In 2012, Jamie worked in logistics at London 2012 during the Olympic Games and also gained experience in hospitality at Michael Wisher and Associates Ltd, where they worked at prestigious events around the country. In 2013, Jamie served as a Counsellor at Camp Sealth, ensuring the well-being and safety of campers.

Jamie's experience at Arm began in 2014 as an Operations and Finance Analyst. They then transitioned to a role as a Project Manager in the IT Platforms and Infrastructure team in 2016. In this role, Jamie managed various projects, including those related to end user compute, identity and access management, networks, security, and windows identity services. They executed over 15 projects, improving the end user experience for Arm employees and ensuring the company's platform and infrastructure were prepared for future growth. Jamie successfully managed expectations from stakeholders, led a pilot project for Windows 10 on Arm technology, and ensured timely completion of network infrastructure for new offices globally. They also managed multiple teams and resources and adapted to changing environments while delivering successful projects. Jamie held the position of Project Manager until January 2020.

Lastly, Jamie currently works at Ably, starting in 2020 as a Delivery Lead and then transitioning to the role of Head of Engineering Delivery in September 2021.

Jamie Newcomb completed their education at Nottingham Trent University, where they studied IT Business Management from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Newport Free Grammar School from 2004 to 2011, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period. Jamie has also obtained several additional certifications, including Leading SAFe 4.0 from Scaled Agile, Inc. in April 2017, PRINCE2® Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2017, Certified ScrumMaster® from Scrum Alliance in December 2016, Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Nottingham Trent University in July 2016, ITIL® Foundation - IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2014, and PRINCE2® Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2017.
