Jo Franchetti has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the tech industry. Currently, they are working as a Developer Advocate at Spotify since 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Lead Developer Advocate at Ably Realtime from 2020. From 2017 to 2019, Jo worked as a Web Developer Advocate at Samsung. Jo also worked as a Front End Developer at Live Nation from 2015 to 2017, where they were responsible for front-end development and stayed updated with modern technologies. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Front End Developer at Distilled, Beatbullying, and Reading Room, gaining experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Jo also worked as an Interaction Engineer at Sign-Up.to, where they designed and coded websites and emails. Prior to that, they worked as a Web Designer at 247Media, updating recruiting websites. Additionally, Jo had a lecturing position at JBC Computing Ltd, teaching IT and networking skills.
Jo Franchetti attended the University of Warwick from 2005 to 2008, where they pursued a degree in BEng Electronic Engineering. During their time at the university, Jo focused on the field of study in electronic engineering.
