Chao Sun

Chao Sun is a software engineer with extensive experience in platform, infrastructure, and observability. Currently at Abnormal Security since January 2022, Chao Sun focuses on platform and infrastructure development. Prior experience includes software engineering roles at Splunk, specializing in cloud infrastructure from October 2019 to January 2022, and at SignalFx, concentrating on core infrastructure from July 2018 to September 2019. Chao Sun also served as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle for eight years, where responsibilities included database system stress testing. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
