David Schneider

David Schneider is currently an advisor at Abnormal Security. Prior to that, they were a security DevOps engineer at DataRobot from August 2019 to April 2022. There, they led the implementation and rollout of Hashicorp Vault running in Hashicorp Cloud Platform (HCP). David also created technical specification documentation for tool implementation and security architecture. In addition, they gathered requirements and led the effort to create a standardized way for deploying and managing internal deployments of DataRobot using GitLab pipelines, Terraform modules, and Helm charts. Furthermore, they created reusable Terraform modules and automated Terraform pipelines in GitLab for rolling out infrastructure changes in AWS. Lastly, they worked with security, product, architecture, and engineering organizations to gather requirements, develop specs, and rollout security tooling and best practices.

Before working at DataRobot, David Schneider was a lead DevOps engineer at Ace Info Solutions, Inc. from August 2017 to August 2019. Prior to that, they were a build and release engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from July 2014 to August 2017. Before that, they were head of special projects at Avenger Mobile from April 2013 to April 2014. And before that, they were head of special projects at WMC Global from March 2011 to April 2014.

David Schneider obtained a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. David also has a high school diploma from Wakefield. In addition, they have certification from DataRobot in DataRobot Deeper Dive Certification and DataRobot Essentials. David also has certification from Docker, Inc in Docker Certified Associate.
