Edwin Maljames

Edwin Maljames is an experienced engineering leader with a robust background in software development and research within the financial technology sector. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Head of R&D at Abnormal AI, alongside the role of India Site Manager, Edwin previously held the position of Director of Engineering at Envestnet | Yodlee, where leadership of the Global Open Banking engineering team was a key responsibility. Prior experience includes a tenure at J.P. Morgan as Vice President of Software Development, where Edwin developed a high-capacity streaming platform, and roles at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers focused on compliance and application development. Edwin holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore and a BE in Electronics and Communication from Madurai Kamaraj University.
