Marcelo Souza

Marcelo Souza serves as the Head of Sales for Latin America at Abnormal Security since March 2025 and as a Go to Market Advisor at Dremio since January 2024. In addition to these roles, Marcelo operates MS Sales Training and Coaching, focusing on sales mentoring and ontological coaching after over twelve years in leadership positions at Splunk and Databricks. Previously, Marcelo held the title of Vice President of Sales, GTM – LATAM at Sovos from December 2023 to February 2025, and Vice President of Sales – LATAM at Databricks from February 2020 to September 2023. An advisor for Birdie.ai from March 2022 to March 2023, and Country Manager, Brazil & Sales Director, Latin America Pre-IPO at Splunk from January 2012 to February 2020, Marcelo has extensive experience in building sales processes and go-to-market strategies across various prominent technology companies, including roles at Oracle and Sun Microsystems. Marcelo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University.
