Nancy Mixon obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, General from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 1987 and 1991. Following this, in 1992 to 1993, they attended California State University, Fresno to acquire a Single Subject Teaching Credential with a focus on English. In 2002, Nancy completed Education Courses to Clear Credential at UC Santa Barbara.
