Tom C.

Tom C. currently serves as the Director of Product Legal at Abnormal AI since July 2025. Prior to this role, Tom held various positions at Eightfold from May 2022 to June 2025, including Associate General Counsel for Privacy & AI Policy, where responsibilities included legal reviews of innovative AI products. At GitHub from 2020 to 2022, Tom was the Director of Product Counsel, overseeing the launch of GitHub Copilot, a leading generative AI tool for developers. Previous experience also includes serving as Lead Senior Legal Counsel at SAP Concur, where Tom advised on data privacy compliance, and Senior Corporate Counsel at Target, providing legal counsel to the technology division and supporting M&A initiatives. Early in the career, Tom worked as an Associate at Stinson LLP, focusing on corporate law. Tom holds a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Saint John's University.
