Abel de Voogd

Abel de Voogd is the Head of Project Development at ABO Energy, where they focus on the social and infrastructural impacts of the energy transition. With a strong background in project management, they previously held roles such as Project Development Manager at TRIO Investment BV and Senior Project Developer at ABO Wind. Abel co-owned LENS from 2016 to 2019 and managed operations there as well. They also served as Team Manager at the Amsterdam Conference Centre Beurs van Berlage from 2011 to 2013. Abel holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Universiteit van Amsterdam and is currently pursuing further education at Maastricht University.
