Founded in 1996, ABO Wind is among Europe’s leading developers of renewable energy projects. We plan, build, operate and maintain wind and solar farms as well as hybrid energy, battery storage, and hydrogen projects in 16 countries on 4 continents. More than 1,000 colleagues contribute towards climate protection and a sustainable energy supply. ABO Wind realises projects with a total annual investment of about 500 million euros. To date, ABO Wind has realised projects with a total capacity of about 5 gigawatts and constructed around half of these.

The Project Development team at ABO Wind is responsible for planning and executing renewable energy projects. This includes identifying suitable sites, securing permits, conducting feasibility studies, and coordinating with local stakeholders and partners to bring wind, solar, hybrid energy, battery storage, and hydrogen projects from conception to completion. The team ensures that projects align with regulatory requirements and contribute to the company’s goal of sustainable energy supply.
