Tobin Watkinson

Tobin Watkinson has a diverse work experience in various industries. Tobin is the co-founder and CEO of Abode, a hospitality company known for providing upscale hotel-like experiences in exceptional spaces. Tobin is also the co-founder of Sparrow Intel, a review-centric platform for the vacation rental industry that helps optimize property performance and guest satisfaction. Previously, Tobin served as a strategic advisor for Mirrored Media, a full-service experiential marketing firm specializing in music and entertainment campaigns. Tobin was also the Vice President of Music at Mirrored Media. Additionally, Tobin has worked as a strategic advisor for Flipagram (now TikTok) and Tixr, where they applied cutting-edge technology to enhance event ticketing experiences. Tobin has also held positions as an independent contractor for Evolve Media, LLC and as a founding partner for Brick+Mortar, a company that bridges gaps between emerging technology, entertainment companies, and global brands. Tobin's experience in the music industry includes roles as a Strategic Advisor for SoundHound Inc. and Talenthouse, where they focused on music partnerships and branded entertainment. Tobin has also participated in the Almaworks Accelerator program as part of the 2021 cohort.

Tobin Watkinson attended Torrey Pines High School for an unknown duration. Later, Tobin enrolled at the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management, from 2001 to 2002. Tobin pursued a major in Management Information Systems within the field of Business Administration during this time. More recently, Tobin attended Columbia University from 2020 to 2023. At Columbia, Tobin focused on earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies with a specialization in Information Science.
