Hector Romero

Hector is responsible for overseeing Santa Clara County housing programs at Abode Services, fostering new housing partnerships, providing input and expertise to achieve the agency’s strategic goals, and ensuring successful implementation, evaluation, and coordination of services. He ensures that programs are in compliance with funding regulations, program goals, and stakeholder expectations. He provides high-level program development, goal setting, and engagement with external stakeholders.

Hector also ensures that programs are successfully integrating supportive services and housing components to stabilize and improve housing, income, and health outcomes of Abode participants. He is an experienced professional who is dedicated to assisting low-income individuals and families.

Hector has more than 25 years of professional experience in helping to implement anti-poverty programs and providing services to those in need. He joined Abode in 2014.
