Danel Aboitiz

Danel Aboitiz serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of AboitizPower since February 2009, alongside various member roles on boards and committees within the organization. With extensive leadership experience in the energy sector, Danel has managed multiple business units including coal, oil, and geothermal power, overseeing significant power generation assets that contribute to national electricity demands. In addition to current responsibilities, Danel holds several board memberships across Aboitiz Group of Companies, including roles with AEV Aviation, Republic Cement, and renewable energy ventures. Danel completed a Master’s degree in Philosophy and Politics at The University of Edinburgh, complementing earlier studies in Chinese language at Beijing Language and Culture University.
