John Dean is currently the VP Plant Operations for Therma Luzon Inc. at Aboitiz Power Corporation, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to this, they worked as an O&M Manager at Eskom from 2013 to 2016 and held various roles within Eskom's organization from 1997 to 2013, including Production Assurance Manager and Power Station Manager. John holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Economics) and an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, as well as a Diploma in Nuclear Engineering. They have extensive experience in managing power operations, maintenance, and project management throughout their career.
