John Kelley

Joan Kelley is an accomplished educator and entrepreneur with extensive experience in literacy development. As the Founder and CEO of Abound Parenting since August 2017, Joan Kelley has launched an app in October 2019 aimed at assisting busy parents and caregivers in enhancing children's literacy skills through everyday moments. Joan Kelley also established aboudparenting.com, providing resources and support for children's reading development from preK through grade 3. Prior to this, Joan Kelley served as a Research Associate and Educational Consultant at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education from July 2007 to May 2018, contributing to the Language Diversity & Literacy Development Research Group. Earlier in the career, Joan Kelley worked as a Reading Teacher in Needham Public Schools from 2005 to 2007. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature from Harvard University and a Master of Education in Language & Literacy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
