Irene Lin

Irene Lin has extensive experience in operations and management within the beauty and venture capital sectors. Currently serving as a Non-Executive Director at about-face beauty since March 2021, Irene previously held the role of Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations at Rare Beauty from April 2016 to February 2021. Prior to that, Irene was an Operations Manager at Benefit Cosmetics from June 2014 to March 2016 and served as a Venture Capital Consultant and Capital Markets Analyst at Sequoia Capital between June 2009 and August 2011. Irene's early career includes a position as an Operations Department Specialist at Benefit Cosmetics in 2011. Educationally, Irene holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Zhejiang Gongshang University, a Master of Arts in Literature, Luxury & Brand Management from Savannah College of Art and Design, and two MBAs from The Wharton School focused on Macroeconomics, Statistics, and Business Administration.
