Roger Otten

Roger Otten, PhD, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and academic roles. Currently serving as a Member of the Investment Committee at the Pension Fund Dutch Dioceses and as a Senior Policy Advisor Investments at Pensioenfonds ABP, Roger provides critical oversight on investment policy and strategy. With a solid academic foundation, Roger holds an Assistant Professorship of Finance at Universiteit Maastricht, teaching a course on Institutional Investors and conducting research on various investment-related topics. Previous positions include Investment Manager at Philips and Senior Portfolio Manager at AZL, among others. Roger earned a PhD in Finance from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics, contributing to a well-rounded profile in both practical and theoretical aspects of finance.
