Joe Edwards

Joe Edwards is an experienced public affairs professional with a strong background in UK competitiveness and policy advocacy. Currently serving as the Director of UK Competitiveness and Devolved Nations at The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) since February 2020, Joe has held various roles, including Senior Public Affairs Manager and Public Affairs Manager. Prior to this, Joe was with The Royal Society from March 2017 to February 2020, serving as a Senior Public Affairs Adviser and Public Affairs Adviser. Joe's career in public affairs began at the Liberal Democrats, where roles included Deputy Head of Whips Office and Aide to Nick Clegg. Joe received a BA in Politics from the University of Hull in 2013.
