Anne Heltzel

Anne Heltzel is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as Editorial Director at ABRAMS since October 2014, Anne has held several roles within the company, including Executive Editor, Senior Editor, and Editor. Prior roles include Associate Editor at Penguin Group USA from January 2011 to September 2012 and Editorial Assistant at the same company from April 2008 to September 2009. Anne started the career as an Assistant to a Literary Agent at Curtis Brown Ltd from January 2007 to March 2008. Academically, Anne earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The New School (2006-2008) and a Bachelor of Arts in Program of Liberal Studies from the University of Notre Dame (2002-2006). In 2022, Anne completed a certificate in Leadership & Management through the Professional & Executive Development program at Harvard Division of Continuing Education.
