Jolene Gutiérrez is an accomplished author and educator with extensive experience in the literary and educational fields. Currently serving as a faculty member and presenter at The Highlights Foundation since March 2023, Gutiérrez has authored various works, including titles at ABRAMS and Chronicle Books, while also contributing to Carson-Dellosa Publishing Group and Lerner Publishing Group. With a long-standing role as a Children's/Young Adult Teacher-Librarian at Denver Academy since 1995, Gutiérrez focuses on teaching information literacy and research skills to students. Additional early career experience includes positions as a before/after school teacher, library aide, and educational roles at local libraries.
